The park and lake also offers opportunities for skiing, boating, fishing and camping. With eight recreational areas and ample amenities Jordan Lake makes exploring easy. Only 15 minutes from Raleigh and Cary, Jordan Lake is a convenient “get away” for daytime water sports or evening star gazing.
Spanning 33 miles, the Eno River is noted for its whitewater paddling offering class 1, 2 and 3 rapids. A popular setting for storytelling, exhibits and workshops, the scenic and picturesque environment attracts hikers and back backers and guided tours of the area are offered by the division of Parks and Recreation..
